At Pleasant Street Sweets there is an emphasis on fresh, made from scratch baked goods that taste as good as they look. There are NO artifical flavors, NO preservatives, and NO added chemicals...only quality ingredients and a lot of love!

Each cake at Pleasant Street Sweets is made to order, from scratch, with high-quality ingredients. No two cakes are the same, and each cake is dense, moist, delicious, and beautiful! When sliced, you will find 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling. With the exception of fruit preserves, every other element is made in-house - curds, fondant, and modeling chocolates included.

Once you contact me to inquire about your wedding desserts, I will typically invite you to my kitchen for a tasting. We will sample 1-2 cake flavors and a variety of buttercreams. If you are headed in the direction of a dessert bar, I am happy to give you 1-3 samples of your choice. I am not a traditional bakery. I don't carry a stock of anything and so each product is made for you. Because of this, I am not able to offer more than 3 samples free of charge. The purpose of the tasting is really for us to become acquainted, to give us a face to face opportunity to discuss the vision you have for your wedding, and for you to get a feel for the quality of my products. This will help us, together, plan for the best desserts to compliment your wedding.

With the tasting behind us, I give you some time to discuss with your future spouse and your family. If you decide to move forward with Pleasant Street Sweets, I will ask that you secure your date with a deposit.

It is always best to contact me well in advance of your wedding. Once wedding season is underway (May to October), I am often too busy to fit in a tasting. And sometimes am booked for your desired date. So please do contact me as soon as possible.
